• Portrait — Four by five, the format of the originals. Suits a town, a valley, anything with a direction. 20×25 cm (€95), 40×50 cm (€175), 60×76 cm (€265).
• Landscape — The same canvas turned on its side. For coastlines, ridges and wide bays. 25×20 cm (€95), 50×40 cm (€175), 76×60 cm (€265).
• Square — Quiet and centred. A square holds a single place without telling it where to go. 30×30 cm (€115), 40×40 cm (€155), 60×60 cm (€235).

Questions

How is the painting made?

From open data about the place itself: the elevation of the ground, the water, the streets and the buildings. A program reduces them to flat fields of colour in one of the Silviero palettes, with a single afternoon shadow. No image generator is involved — what you see on screen is exactly what is printed.

Can any place be used?

Anywhere on earth. Mountains give bands of colour by height, coasts their waterline, cities their streets and, close in, every building with its shadow.

What is it printed on?

Cotton-blend canvas stretched over a 3 cm wooden frame. The picture carries on round the edges, so it hangs as it is, without a frame.

How long does it take?

It is printed for your coordinates and shipped tracked: usually 5–10 working days to your door.

Can I return it?

Only if it arrives damaged or does not match what you configured. A painting made from your own coordinates cannot be sold to anyone else.
