Prints are pigment prints on poly-cotton canvas, hand-stretched over solid wood bars and made to order. Places are paintings drawn from the map of a place and printed the same way. Pinta tu foto paintings are drawn from a photo you upload and printed the same way. Each work comes with its own numbered certificate of authenticity.

Images on the site show each work as faithfully as possible, but colours can differ slightly between screens and the printed canvas.

Prices are shown and charged in the currency of your delivery country: US dollars in the United States, pounds sterling in the United Kingdom, Canadian dollars in Canada and euros everywhere else. Prices in euros include VAT. Shipping is calculated from your delivery address and shown at checkout before you pay, together with the VAT included; the total you see there is the total you are charged. Deliveries outside the European Union are charged without EU VAT; import duties and taxes in the destination country, if any, are set by its customs authority.

Payment is by card through Stripe. Your order is accepted when we confirm it by email, and the confirmation is your proof of purchase.

Every work is made after you order it. Production usually takes a few working days, and delivery typically 5–10 working days in total, depending on the destination. The shipping cost and estimate are shown at checkout.

The work is your responsibility from the moment it is delivered. If it arrives damaged, photograph it before unpacking further and write to us within 48 hours: we will replace it or refund it.

You may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the work, without giving a reason. Tell us clearly — by email to info@silviero.com, for example using the model form below — and send the work back, well packed, within 14 days of telling us. The cost of returning it is yours.

We refund the price and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same means of payment. We may hold the refund until the work is back with us or you show proof that you have sent it.

Exception: a Places painting made from a place you chose, and a Pinta tu foto painting made from your photo, are personalised for you, so the right of withdrawal does not apply to them (Article 103(c) of the Spanish consumer law, TRLGDCU). This does not affect your rights if the work arrives faulty or differs from what you ordered. Ready-made Places from the shop can be returned like any print.

By ordering a painting from a photo you confirm that you took the photo or have the right to use it, and that every person who can be recognised in it has agreed to it being painted — for a minor, their parent or legal guardian.

You allow us to process your photo and print the painting for your order, and for nothing else. We do not use your photos as examples or in advertising, and we do not pass them on except as described in the privacy policy.

Before printing, the studio checks every painting made from a photo. We may decline to print a photo that infringes someone else’s rights, shows a person without their consent, or is unlawful or offensive; in that case we cancel the order and refund it in full.

The painting is a new work made from your photo: the copyright in your photo stays with you, and the copyright in the painting stays with its author. You own the canvas and may hang, give or sell it, but not reproduce it.

As a consumer you have a legal guarantee of conformity of three years from delivery (Article 120 TRLGDCU). If a work has a defect, write to us and we will repair or replace it, or refund it if neither is possible.

Each certificate is issued when the order is paid, sent to you by email and recorded in the studio’s registry, where anyone holding its number can check it. If the order is cancelled or the work returned, the certificate is cancelled in the registry.

Buying a work gives you ownership of that physical canvas, not the right to reproduce the image. The copyright in every work stays with its author.

Write to info@silviero.com with any complaint; we answer within one month at the latest. Official complaint forms are available on request.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. As a consumer you may also bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence.
