About
this work
Bred to go after badgers, the dachshund kept the courage and lost the job. What remains is a long nose, a firm stare and a lot of personality per centimetre.
The canvas
- Printed with fade-resistant inks on poly-cotton canvas
- Hand-stretched over solid wood bars, 3.18 cm (1.25″) deep
- Gallery wrap: the picture continues round the edges, so it hangs without a frame
- Arrives ready to hang, mounting brackets included
- Vertical 4:5, in three sizes: 20 × 25, 40 × 50 and 60 × 76 cm
How it is made
Painted in the language of the Places series: a few flat fields of colour from one Silviero palette, one light and one shade, the artist’s signature in the corner. Each canvas is printed and stretched after you order it, which takes a few working days before it ships.
For adults. Legal guarantee: 3 years. Meets the lead level requirements.
