Rain Before It Falls

Drops that meet, melt into one and pull apart again. Líquido is a series of forms written in code — no camera, no brush, no image generator: each shape is a few lines of mathematics, here in aqua, green, ultramarine and magenta. On film it moves in a seamless loop with its own music. On canvas it stops at one moment of that loop.

The canvas

• Printed with fade-resistant inks on poly-cotton canvas, 344 g/m²
• Hand-stretched over solid wood bars, 3.18 cm (1.25″) deep
• Gallery wrap: the sides continue the picture as a mirror of its edges, so nothing on the front is lost around the frame
• Arrives ready to hang, mounting brackets included
• Vertical 2:3, in four sizes from 30 × 46 cm (12 × 18″) to 61 × 91 cm (24 × 36″)
• Unframed, or in a floating pine frame — black, brown or white — in 30 × 46, 51 × 76 and 61 × 91 cm

Made to order

Each canvas is printed and stretched after you order it, which takes a few working days before it ships. Delivery time and cost are shown at checkout. Making to order instead of in bulk means nothing gets printed that nobody wanted.
