About
this work
The cabins are rented by the season and painted by the town, blue and white on one row, orange and white on the next, and nobody remembers who decided. His is number fourteen. It holds a folding chair, a towel and a key on a long string. Every morning he walks down to the water the same way, as if the sea were an appointment he has no intention of missing.
The canvas
- Printed with fade-resistant inks on poly-cotton canvas, 344 g/m²
- Hand-stretched over solid wood bars, 3.18 cm (1.25″) deep
- Gallery wrap: the sides continue the picture as a mirror of its edges, so nothing on the front is lost around the frame
- Arrives ready to hang, mounting brackets included
- Vertical 2:3, in four sizes from 30 × 46 cm (12 × 18″) to 61 × 91 cm (24 × 36″)
Made to order
Each canvas is printed and stretched after you order it, which takes a few working days before it ships. Delivery time and cost are shown at checkout. Making to order instead of in bulk means nothing gets printed that nobody wanted.
