About
this work
In August every mooring is taken and every boat is waiting for its owner to have a free weekend. From the promenade they look like a tidy row of good intentions. The town on the hill has seen this every summer for forty years and has stopped being impressed. She walks along the edge choosing which one she would take, if it were hers.
The canvas
- Printed with fade-resistant inks on poly-cotton canvas, 344 g/m²
- Hand-stretched over solid wood bars, 3.18 cm (1.25″) deep
- Gallery wrap: the sides continue the picture as a mirror of its edges, so nothing on the front is lost around the frame
- Arrives ready to hang, mounting brackets included
- Vertical 2:3, in four sizes from 30 × 46 cm (12 × 18″) to 61 × 91 cm (24 × 36″)
- Unframed, or in a floating pine frame — black, brown or white — in 30 × 46, 51 × 76 and 61 × 91 cm
Made to order
Each canvas is printed and stretched after you order it, which takes a few working days before it ships. Delivery time and cost are shown at checkout. Making to order instead of in bulk means nothing gets printed that nobody wanted.
