About
this work
The light has been green for some time. Nobody has moved. The sky is doing the thing it does at half past eight in September, and a few hundred people are watching it through a windscreen, each of them certain the other lane is faster. Along the ridge a thin blue line holds the mountains in place. The palm has seen this every evening of its life and no longer has an opinion.
The canvas
- Printed with fade-resistant inks on poly-cotton canvas, 344 g/m²
- Hand-stretched over solid wood bars, 3.18 cm (1.25″) deep
- Gallery wrap: the sides continue the picture as a mirror of its edges, so nothing on the front is lost around the frame
- Arrives ready to hang, mounting brackets included
- Vertical 2:3, in four sizes from 30 × 46 cm (12 × 18″) to 61 × 91 cm (24 × 36″)
Made to order
Each canvas is printed and stretched after you order it, which takes a few working days before it ships. Delivery time and cost are shown at checkout. Making to order instead of in bulk means nothing gets printed that nobody wanted.
