About
this work
People here park facing the sunset without ever saying that is why. The engines are off and the radios are on, low. The grass at the edge of the car park has grown taller than anyone meant it to and now frames the whole thing like a postcard nobody will send. In ten minutes the sky will do its best colour and the first car will leave just before it, as somebody always does.
The canvas
- Printed with fade-resistant inks on poly-cotton canvas, 344 g/m²
- Hand-stretched over solid wood bars, 3.18 cm (1.25″) deep
- Gallery wrap: the sides continue the picture as a mirror of its edges, so nothing on the front is lost around the frame
- Arrives ready to hang, mounting brackets included
- Vertical 2:3, in four sizes from 30 × 46 cm (12 × 18″) to 61 × 91 cm (24 × 36″)
- Unframed, or in a floating pine frame — black, brown or white — in 30 × 46, 51 × 76 and 61 × 91 cm
Made to order
Each canvas is printed and stretched after you order it, which takes a few working days before it ships. Delivery time and cost are shown at checkout. Making to order instead of in bulk means nothing gets printed that nobody wanted.
