The rocks are warm before the water is. People sit on them for ten minutes, deciding, the way you stand at a door before going into a party. The sea keeps arriving in the same three lines, patient as a teacher. Somebody always says it is colder than yesterday. It never is. By noon the rocks are empty and everyone is in, pretending they were never undecided.
The canvas
- Printed with fade-resistant inks on poly-cotton canvas, 344 g/m²
- Hand-stretched over solid wood bars, 3.18 cm (1.25″) deep
- Gallery wrap: the sides continue the picture as a mirror of its edges, so nothing on the front is lost around the frame
- Arrives ready to hang, mounting brackets included
- Vertical 2:3, in four sizes from 30 × 46 cm (12 × 18″) to 61 × 91 cm (24 × 36″)
- Unframed, or in a floating pine frame — black, brown or white — in 30 × 46, 51 × 76 and 61 × 91 cm
