The lamps stand in a queue down the street, each one sure it will be the first to come on. The sky has already gone pink and is not waiting for anybody. Behind the wall a bush has decided to flower in red all at once, as if it were the last evening of something. She walks the middle of the street because at this hour there are no cars, only the sound of somebody laying a table upstairs.
The canvas

- Hand-stretched over solid wood bars, 3.18 cm (1.25″) deep
- Gallery wrap: the sides continue the picture as a mirror of its edges, so nothing on the front is lost around the frame
