The sun has gone behind the mountains but the sand has not been told. It holds the whole afternoon and gives it back to anyone who sits down. The sea has turned the colour of ink and is writing the same line along the shore over and over. This is the half hour when the beach belongs to dog walkers and people who did not want the day to end.
The canvas
- Printed with fade-resistant inks on poly-cotton canvas, 344 g/m²
- Hand-stretched over solid wood bars, 3.18 cm (1.25″) deep
- Gallery wrap: the sides continue the picture as a mirror of its edges, so nothing on the front is lost around the frame
- Arrives ready to hang, mounting brackets included
- Vertical 2:3, in four sizes from 30 × 46 cm (12 × 18″) to 61 × 91 cm (24 × 36″)
- Unframed, or in a floating pine frame — black, brown or white — in 30 × 46, 51 × 76 and 61 × 91 cm
