Everyone swears the wheel turns slower at sunset, and nobody has ever timed it. The palms stand around like tall guests who arrived early. The sea goes peach, then grey, then something with no name. She has been sitting on the same patch of sand since four and intends to stay until the lights on the pier are the only colour left.
The canvas

- Hand-stretched over solid wood bars, 3.18 cm (1.25″) deep
- Gallery wrap: the sides continue the picture as a mirror of its edges, so nothing on the front is lost around the frame
